For even more information, please see the Bwin Poker Download and Bwin Poker Bonus Code pages which go into detail how to signup at Bwin Poker!

Bwin Poker, a proud member of the Ongame Poker Network, is a very pleasant site to play on because of a ton of factors: they have a pretty large player base consisting mainly of the typical Euro fishies; plentiful deposit options; very multi-tabling friendly software; tons of GTD tournaments on offer; excellent note-taking and hand history features, and also attractive GUI colors. All you have to do to get access to all of these excellent and player oriented features is to register for your account now and download the Bwin Poker software. Unfortunately Bwin Poker (and the rest of the Ongame Poker Network) is not currently available for US player to play in their real money games.

The downloading process of the Bwin Poker software couldn’t be any easier even if it actually tried. Once you register your account at Bwin Poker room and log in, you will see buttons located on the left hand side of the screen under the header “Play Online Poker”. These buttons are not big, but you cannot miss them. Two versions are on offer, the Full Version and the In browser version. Of course, the full version is what we are interested in, so you should just click that button for further instructions.

Once you go through to the Bwin Poker Download page, you will be offered to download the software in both Windows and Mac OS X versions. Mac users, who usually get the shaft from poker rooms in general as if they didn’t exist, are also offered a native download for their Mac OS X systems.

The Bwin Poker software runs on every Windows since 2000/XP on up, and on Mac OS X 10.4+. The rest of the windows requirements are as follows: a Pentium 1GHz processor minimum, 512MB Ram, any graphics card of at least 4MB, 20GB hard drive, Windows versions 2000, XP, Vista or 7.

On the Mac OS X side of the lake, the requirements to run the Bwin Poker software are as follows: 1GHz+ processor, minimum of 512MB of ram, minimum an ATI Rage 128 16MB graphics card, 20Gb hard drive, a soundcard and of course Mac OS X 10.4 and up.

These are very modest requirements to run, and most computers nowadays (I’m talking like 95%+ ) handily beat these requirements and make for a quite smooth experience on the Bwin Poker software.

The next step of the Bwin Poker download is easy. All you have to do is double click the file you just downloaded, and follow the prompts on the screen. The Windows download weighs in at an anemic 1.2MB, and the Mac OS X download at 3.1 MB. The Bwin software itself is available for install in over 20 languages which you may choose upon launching the installer, including the usual suspects English, Spanish and French, but also all Nordic Languages including Finnish and Norwegian, some Russian languages, some Asian languages including Turkish, and much more. You can be sure that you can play using the Bwin software in a language which is familiar to you.

On the newer windows side, such as Vista and 7, you may encounter a Windows User Account Control trademark screen dimming and asking for an administrator’s permission before the installation; this is normal, and all you have to do is click yes (as admin) to grant it. After this, basically you only have to click next unless you want to change the default application folder (C:\Bwin Poker) and other install options. On the Mac OS X side of things, all you have to do once you click the .dmg file is drag and drop the contents into your application folder, and the software itself does the rest. Again, you may be asked for your root password during this process, just like when you install anything in the applications folder.

Of note is that the software will detect if you have Adobe Flash and Adobe AIR installed on your system, and if not, it will proceed to install them for you. This is highly beneficial since tons and tons more of apps and websites rely on these frameworks by Adobe to deliver a rich user experience, so not having them on your system is a definite no-no in this day and age.

Once you log in into the Bwin Poker software after you install it, you will be greeted with its very elegant color scheme and easy to navigate lobby. Picking the correct game to play in is almost second nature, and the table graphics are very good as well. The cards are easily legible and also well animated while the background is beautiful. Chipstacks are easily legible as well, the only thing you have to keep in mind is the $ sign in front of the chips, that to tired eyes may look like a 5. Actions are easily taken thanks to the excellent placing and contrast with the background of the onscreen buttons, and your current hand is even displayed on screen to help you in case you did not spot your hand strength. There are tons more of excellent features of the Bwin Poker software, so please refer to the software section of the main FlopTurnRiver Bwin Poker review.

All in all, the Bwin Poker download is a frustration free experience, and the Bwin Poker software is full of win. You cannot go wrong with this awesome site, poker network and excellent software combination, so all you have to do now is sign up for your Bwin account through FlopTurnRiver and let the good times begin!
