Ladbrokes Hand History Features
Hand Histories can be accessed one of the two ways on Ladbrokes, the first being an instant viewer available on each table. Clicking on the small hyperlink in the bottom left of the window will bring up a graphical representation of the last hand, which mirrors almost exactly the standard table view. Large buttons enable to you to flick backwards and forwards through all the hands played on that table. The chat box is filled with a textual representation of the hand in question.
The second option is reached by navigating through 'Menu' --> 'My Account' --> ‘Hand History’. The window this calls up will allow you to view a list of hands from a specified number of days or recently played hands. Selecting a member of the list will cause a text version of the hand to appear in a lower box. In the bottom left, an ‘Export Hand History’ button allows you to save the selected hand to a .txt file. If you want to save more than one hand to the same .txt file then you need only select them together in the top box.
UK gambling supremos Ladbrokes plc. has been in business since the 19th Century, carving out an empire of sportsbooks across Great Britain and Europe. Their poker room is equally well established, having become one of the most popular online poker destinations in Europe. Since early 2009 Ladbrokes has been a part of the well known Microgaming Network. The amalgamation of two player bases has provided a significant boost to both companies. Due to the UIGEA neither Ladbrokes nor Microgaming currently accepts U.S. players
The healthy number of games on offer means that most players should be able to locate the variation of their choice. Texas Hold ‘em, 5 Card Draw, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, and 5 Card Stud are all available. One big bonus for those with eye for profit is the range of other gambling diversions offered by Ladbrokes. Big winners at the casino games, bingo, or sports and financial betting feed into the poker room, creating a welcome pool of fish to exploit.
The stakes at Ladbrokes poker starts low and progress to a reasonably high level. Cash starts at €0.02/€0.04 and reaches it’s ceiling at €50/€100. Sit and Go’s are a little less well equipped to deal with the high stakes players, but should be more than enough for the vast majority of regular users. Micro-stakes buy-ins begin at $0.09 + $0.01, with the higher levels finishing up at $100 + $9. There are table’s with buy-ins above this (up to $1000 + $90), but only for heads up play.
Whereas most companies are happy to settle for one poker client, Ladbrokes poker offers potential customers three distinct options. The first, and simplest, is a flash client that enables those on non-Windows computers, or who are away from their PC, to play via their browser. The downloadable 2D client is built on a Microgaming standard platform, but features a fantastic graphical interface to compliment the sturdy client design.
Ladbrokes poker is also one of the few online poker sites to offer a fully 3D client. The 300MB plus file will, once installed, allow you to create a custom poker player to represent you at the tables. Once in play your digital avatar can give off false tells and perform a range of other human-like actions. Another potentially groundbreaking featured offered by this client is the opportunity to audibly interact with your opponents. Voice over IP technology allows you to engage adds another layer of realism and another source of tells to the internet poker mix.
The player traffic on the Microgaming network is one of the best in the world, with around 2200 players on the site at peak times. Although this lags behind the likes of Poker Stars and Full Tilt, there are still likely to be plenty of players available at any one time. For some time Ladbrokes poker has been the site of choice for Scandinavian players. Their uber-aggressive style of play meant that tables on Ladbrokes were significantly looser than their competitors. Although the new influx of Microgaming players has mitigated this somewhat, Ladbrokes still features softer player competition overall compared to the biggest sites.
