UB Hand History Features
Hand histories can be obtained a couple of different ways on UB. The simplest way to access hand histories for the current table you are playing is to click on the “history” link at the table. This brings up all of the poker hands for which you were at the table.
Hand histories are also stored in a file through the software that can be accessed under the “My Account” menu in the top left corner. In the same menu, you can also request hand histories for ring games or tournaments via email. Unfortunately, hand histories cannot be saved directly to your computer and must either be requested or accessed off the online file.
UB Overview
UB (also known as UltimateBet) is part of the newly formed Cereus network, and under the new ownership of Tokwiro Enterprises. It is home to the charitable Annie Duke and the infamous “Poker Brat” Phil Hellmuth. And even though UltimateBet has come under some heat recently with the player scandals, Duke and Hellmuth still fully support their site and Cereus is excited about its launch.
UB offers a wide variety of games for the avid poker player: Limit Hold'em, NL Hold'em, PL Hold'em, Omaha Hi/Lo, Omaha, 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, Razz, Horse, and Hose. Like other poker rooms out there, most of the action on UltimateBet is concentrated at the Texas Hold'em ring game tables, specifically the no limit ones. The low- to mid-stakes seem to be the most popular. UB also has many scheduled multi-table tournaments and sit n' gos.
The software utilized by UB is very modern designed, but to someone unfamiliar with it, it may be confusing to find out where it is you want to go! There is a lot going on in the lobby and can appear busy looking. The UB interface doesn't take long to get familiar with and you'll soon be jumping into your favorite poker games.
